Using a power bank with your camera
Techalogic cameras keep recording while connected to a power bank, so you can ride for longer than the internal battery allows.
- Connect the camera to the power bank with the correct cable for your camera before you set off, and check recording has started.
- Carry the power bank in a pocket or bag, inside waterproof clothing or luggage in wet weather.
- At the camera end, use a weather-protected connection such as the Techalogic waterproof USB rubber pack for your model.
- Check cables regularly for wear, and check the power bank for signs of overheating.
- Recharge the power bank after use so it is ready for your next ride.

Common questions
How much extra recording time will I get?
It depends on your camera and settings. As a guide, the 10,000mAh power bank adds about 12 hours to DC-2 Pro and the 8,000mAh adds about 10 hours. Cold weather reduces battery capacity.
Can I charge my phone at the same time?
Yes. Both have more than one output, and both support wireless charging for a compatible phone. Wireless charging is for phones and other devices that support it, not for Techalogic cameras.
Is the power bank waterproof?
No. Keep it inside waterproof clothing or luggage and protect the cable connection at the camera.
