Dual 2K recording offers a higher-resolution option than DC-1’s dual Full HD recording. Choose your mode around the detail and runtime you need.

The stated maximum runtime is up to four hours in dual Full HD at 30fps. Higher-resolution modes change that duration, so select the setting that fits your route.

DC-2 Pro puts front-and-rear recording into one camera to mount, charge and check. Its longer stated runtime gives you another option when planning time on the road.
Choose the recording mode before you leave. Higher resolution and the longest runtime are different settings, rather than promises to expect at the same time.

One-button operation and vibration alerts make the pre-ride recording check straightforward. Clean both lenses and check that the date and time are right.
Use the WiFi app when safely stopped to check your view and review files. Copy relevant original recordings promptly; loop recording can overwrite older unlocked footage.
An optional GPS module adds journey information. An optional remote adds functions including clip locking. Choose these extras if they serve your routine; neither is included in the standard kit.
Runtime varies with settings, temperature and use. Follow the manual for charging, weather protection and file handling.

DC-2 Pro camera, elasticated riding-hat strap, cycle helmet strap, USB-C charging cable, waterproof cable connector, quick-release clip and camera holder with ring and silicone insert, flat and curved mounts with 3M pads, angle adapter, Allen keys, thumb screw, lens cloth, storage bag and user manual.
A microSD card, GPS module and remote are not included in the standard kit. The supplied USB-C cable is for charging, not data transfer.

A few useful answers.
Will it record in 2K for four hours?
The four-hour maximum is stated for dual Full HD recording at 30fps. The manual lists approximately 190 minutes for dual 2K at 30fps. Actual runtime varies with settings, temperature and use.
Are GPS and the remote included?
No. Both are optional accessories. Add GPS if journey information matters to you, and a compatible remote if you want its additional controls.
Does higher resolution guarantee readable number plates?
No. Distance, light, motion, mounting and settings all affect visible detail. Review representative footage and check a recording from your own setup.
What if I need help with my setup?

How should I keep footage I may need?
Retain original files and useful surrounding footage promptly, and make a separate backup. Read our footage-preservation guide.

SD Card Guide
Using a suitable and compatible SD card is essential to your camera functioning correctly. There are various branded and unbranded cards that are not suitable for safe use in safety style cameras that have the loop record function. Ideally please select a durable card that has been designed for dashcam/safety camera use. The ‘integral security’ Micro SD Card (Image Below) is our recommended choice for great quality and value for money. The Integral cards are suitable with any Techalogic Camera.
Warning – Techalogic customers report a high level of issues with the Sandisk range of cards with our cameras and we advise that these be avoided.

The Techalogic DC-2 Pro camera is a game-changer when it comes to capturing your motorbike adventures. With its lightweight compact design, it easily mounts onto your helmet allowing you to record your experiences hands-free in both directions. I had previously been looking at a bike mounted front and rear camera or a dash cam solution like the Innov K3 but this more than covers it.
One of the best features of the DC-2 Pro is its high-quality video recording capabilities. It boasts a stunning 2k full HD resolution which gives sharp, crystal clear footage, even in some heavy rainfall. I was really impressed. You can take still images as well as video and they are just as clear.
Another thing that surprised and impressed me was the cameras wide angle lenses which captured far more than I was expecting. From a safety perspective this could be invaluable.
Another fantastic feature is the built-in Wi-Fi connectivity which allows you to connect the camera to your smartphone using the dedicated app. The footage is synced instantly for streaming and then you can download the ones you want to save. It also allows you to share your videos easily on WhatsApp (other messaging services are available lol)
When you switch the camera on and off it vibrates to let you know it has worked. The two functions have distinctly different vibration patterns so you can tell which one is which. When stationary it can be detected easily but I found it difficult at higher speeds. That said I’m still getting used to it and usually would not be switching the camera on or off while riding.
I installed a 128 Gb micro SD which holds plenty of footage. Battery life is good and I tested the water resistance to the max yesterday on my ride home. I’ve read it has some safety features which I’ve not tested yet such as overwriting when the card is full and locking footage if there is an accident. I think this does it by using sudden changes to movement with force. Not intending to road test this one.
Overall, I’m really impressed with the size, battery, quality and price compared to other options and cannot wait to get out and use it some more.
