Manual and downloads

The full LC-1 user manual covers every setting, the light modes and troubleshooting.

Quick start

Use this alongside the manual. Back up important recordings before formatting a card, and follow your bike manufacturer’s guidance when fitting the mount.

First-time setup

  • Charge the camera fully with the supplied USB cable before first use.
  • Insert a Class 10, U3, V30 microSD card between 8GB and 512GB (not included).
  • Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to switch on.
  • Short press the power button to cycle through the light modes.
  • Press the recording button once to start recording. The blue indicator flashes while recording.

Connecting to the Viidure app

  • Download the Viidure app from the App Store or Google Play.
  • Press and hold the recording button for 3 seconds to turn on Wi-Fi.
  • In your phone’s Wi-Fi settings, select “Techalogic” and enter the password 12345678.
  • Open Viidure, tap “Connect DVR”, then “Connect Device” and “Connect” for live view and settings.

A “No Internet Connection” warning is normal. Your phone is connected to the camera’s Wi-Fi, not the internet.

Battery and light

  • The 3500mAh battery gives 4 to 6 hours of use depending on settings and light mode.
  • The touch-sensitive indicator shows the battery level. The charging light goes off when charging is complete.
  • The 90-lumen light has maximum, medium, flash, pulse, twilight sensor and off modes. Twilight sensor mode switches the light on automatically in low light.
  • Switch the LC-1 off while charging for the best battery performance.

Reviewing and transferring files

  • In the app: connect to the LC-1 Wi-Fi, open Viidure, then view, download or delete recordings.
  • On a computer: switch the LC-1 off, remove the microSD card and use the supplied card adaptor or a card reader.

G-sensor, weather and card care

  • The G-sensor locks footage automatically after an impact or sudden movement. Locked files are not overwritten by loop recording. You can turn the G-sensor off in the app.
  • The LC-1 is IPX6 rated for heavy rain. Close the charging port cover securely before riding in wet weather.
  • Format the card every 2 to 3 months in the app, or on a computer as FAT32 or exFAT. Use a high-endurance card and back up files first, as formatting erases everything.

Setup and troubleshooting

15 help topics

Getting started

What is in the LC-1 box?

The LC-1 cycle light camera, a USB charging cable, a universal mount kit and a USB microSD card adaptor.

How long does the LC-1 battery last?

4 to 6 hours, depending on the light mode and recording settings. Cold weather reduces battery life.

Can I use the LC-1 as a rear light without recording?

Yes. Turn on a light mode and do not press the recording button.

Which memory cards are supported?

Class 10, U3, V30 microSD cards from 8GB to 512GB. A high-endurance card is recommended for loop recording.

Is the LC-1 waterproof?

It is IPX6 rated, so it handles heavy rain. Keep the charging port cover closed. It is not designed to be submerged.

How do I check the battery level and how long does charging take?

The touch-sensitive indicator shows the current charge. A full charge takes about 3 hours.

Wi-Fi and app

Why does my phone say “No Internet Connection” when connected?

This is normal. Your phone is connected to the LC-1’s Wi-Fi network, not the internet.

The Viidure app is not connecting. What should I do?
  • Check the LC-1 is on and Wi-Fi is enabled (hold the recording button for 3 seconds).
  • Check your phone is connected to the “Techalogic” Wi-Fi network.
  • If your phone suggests switching networks, choose “Keep”.

Recording and video

Does the LC-1 overwrite old footage?

Yes. Loop recording overwrites the oldest files when the card is full, unless they are locked.

How do I lock a file so it is not deleted?

The LC-1 locks files automatically when the G-sensor detects an impact. You can also lock a file manually in the Viidure app.

Why are some files locked and not being overwritten?

These are impact-detected (G-sensor) recordings. Delete them in the app or from the card when you no longer need them.

Fitting and troubleshooting

How do I mount the LC-1 to my bike?
  • Attach the Garmin-style mount to your seat post with the supplied straps.
  • Choose the spacer that gives a snug fit.
  • Twist the LC-1 clockwise to lock it onto the mount.

Mount it upright. The camera cannot be mounted upside down, as the video would be inverted.

The LC-1 is not turning on. What should I do?
  • Charge the battery fully.
  • Hold the power button for 2 seconds.
  • If it still does not respond, use the reset button.
Why is my LC-1 not recording?
  • Check a compatible microSD card is inserted and formatted.
  • Press the recording button. A flashing blue light means it is recording.
Why is the light not turning on automatically at night?

Check that twilight sensor mode is enabled in the Viidure app.
