Recording that fits your ride

A useful record. A practical riding routine.

Traffic, junctions and road conditions can be difficult to recall in detail after a ride. A safety camera gives you a recorded view to return to. Choose the coverage you need, then consider how the camera fits your helmet and your usual journey.

01

Daily journeys

Make charging and checking recording part of getting ready, so the setup is familiar on the days you need it.

02

Traffic in both directions

Front-and-rear lenses give you two views from one camera. Check that both lenses have a clear view when fitted.

03

Longer routes

Compare stated recording duration with your time on the road, allowing for settings, temperature and battery condition.

Which setup fits your ride?

HC-1 rider safety camera

HC-1

Lightweight routine recording

A small, 48g helmet camera for a forward-facing record of everyday rides.

Choose a dual-lens camera if you also want a rear view.

£149.95
DC-1 rider safety camera

DC-1

Accessible front-and-rear recording

Two views from one helmet camera, with Full HD recording and WiFi access.

Consider DC-2 Pro for a longer stated recording duration and optional GPS.

£189.99
DC-2 Pro rider safety camera

DC-2 Pro

Front and rear. One camera.

One helmet camera with two lenses, 2K recording and an optional GPS module.

A larger helmet setup than HC-1; the remote and GPS module are optional extras.

£239.99

A little preparation

Fit the setup to your helmet.

A helmet-mounted camera moves as you look around. Check the recorded view from your normal riding position, including any obstruction from the helmet, your shoulder or riding kit. Follow your helmet manufacturer's guidance before fitting a mount.

  • Check that the mounting arrangement does not interfere with the visor, vents or normal helmet use.
  • Get familiar with the controls before the ride and confirm recording before setting off.
  • Stop in a safe place before adjusting the camera or using its app.

Useful answers

Motorcycling camera questions

Which camera gives me a rear view?

DC-1 and DC-2 Pro record forwards and backwards from one helmet camera. HC-1 is the smaller forward-facing option. Check both views after fitting a dual-lens model.

Will a camera fit any motorcycle helmet?

Do not assume universal compatibility. Check the mount, helmet shape and helmet manufacturer's guidance. Ask Techalogic for help with the camera's mounting options if you are unsure.

How should I choose recording duration?

Start with your usual journey length and charging routine. Stated runtimes are a guide; settings, temperature and battery condition affect actual duration.

Choose around the way you ride.

Tell us your usual ride and the view you want to record. We can help you narrow down the options.
